If you prefer a vintage bike from more recent times, opt for a Columbia bike from the 1960s, 1970s, or 1980s.

Originally produced by Columbia Bicycles in 1940, the Columbia Compax folding bike was the first of it’s kind. The collapsible design was ideal for anyone tight on space, since it could be easily transported and stored practically anywhere. It was even tested by the US military during WWII to be used by paratroopers, due to it’s portability. This modern day reproduction has all the features and nostalgic charm of the original 1940’s models- with state-of-the-art mechanical advances to ensure this bike is easy to maneuver and built to last.
