Lock open manual vent valve and wait for the pressure in the area to be serviced (compressor, receiver, etc.) to be completely relieved before starting service. The manual vent valve may be the drain valve in the receiver. NEVER remove a plug to relieve the pressure. Shut off water and depressurize system if it is water cooled. This user manual includes information and instructions for operation, maintenance, adjustments for a safe and efficient use of U.S. Before installation of the compressor, read the user manual carefully and comprehend it thoroughly.
